Something Old, Something New...

For the last few days, I have been super busy getting the details together for Open House 2010.  As I was brainstorming some of the different themes I would be presenting, I thought to myself that it would be much more helpful to gather some images together that would reflect the overall look and feel I was going for.  It's one thing to have an image in your mind, but a completely different thing to vocalize what you are envisioning.  

Here is the inspiration board I created for the "Something Borrowed, Something Blue" bridal shower theme that I will be presenting at Open House 2010.  This was my first attempt to create an inspiration board, and I have to say, I am quite pleased with the outcome!

Engagement Session: Monica & Alex

I am so excited to announce that I'll be coordinating a wedding for a darling couple by the name of Monica & Alex. I had the privilege of meeting with Monica last week, and was thrilled that she and her fiance chose Platinum Touch Events to be a part of their special day! In speaking with Monica, we both could tell right away that we would be a good fit to work together. She spoke with such a soft tone as she gushed over the details of her upcoming wedding, and seemed to be one of the sweetest and most easy-going people that I have come across.

I am looking forward to their July 10, 2010 nuptials, which will be held at the Saddle Peak Lodge in Malibu! I will be going to check out the venue this weekend, and will have the opportunity to meet Alex, as well as Monica's mom, who I can tell is such an important part of this wedding!

Open House 2010

Over the last couple of weeks, I have been extremely busy: preparing a new marketing campaign, attending networking events and client meetings, etc. Also, this past Friday, I had the privilege of coordinating the wedding of my super adorable clients Tatiana & Ryan (more on them soon)! I definitely have to send a HUGE thank you to my wonderful assistant Jacqueline for helping to make sure everything ran smoothly. Believe me when I say that she is amazing and truly a joy to have on my team!

So what's next for Platinum Touch Events? Well, I have a few things brewing in the pot, but the one I am most excited about is my very first Open House. I decided to put on an event that will showcase exactly what it is that Platinum Touch Events can do for our clients. This will be an opportunity for past, present, and future clients to get a glimpse of what PTE has to offer. I will be presenting several themed tablescapes to showcase my work, there will be fabulous vendors on hand to help make your wedding/event planning process a breeze, along with tasty appetizers, exciting entertainment, and yummy cocktails, this will be an event that you will NOT want to miss.

The Open House is in it's very early planning stages, but more details will be coming soon. I am soooo excited to have the opportunity to give everyone a glimpse into my world. Stay tuned!
