Mardi Gras is tomorrow, so I thought I'd share a few tips and party inspiration for those that will be hosting a get-together for "Fat Tuesday".
The Decor
The official colors for Mardi Gras are purple, gold, and green. Break out the feathers, masks, and beads to create a festive look. The Menu
New Orleans is know for it's spicy, cajun cuisine. Incorporate a few of these traditional menu dishes to make your guests feel at home...
Jambalaya
The Dessert
A traditional Mardi Gras King Cake is a must! Dont forget to place a gold coin or small baby jesus inside. (Whoever finds it in their slice is declared the king/queen for the day and has the task of hosting the next Mardi Gras party).

You can also get festive with decorative cookies, cupcakes, and cake.
The Drinks
The Hurricane cocktail is synonymous with New Orleans and perfect for the occasion! Find the recipe here.
For a non-alcoholic drink, mix up some Mardi Gras Madness Punch. Find the recipe here.
